XtraVision Celebrates Moon Festival with “Sweetie Chocolates”!

This Mid-Autumn Festival, in an effort to support battered women, XtraVision sent delicious, handmade “Sweetie” chocolates to friends and business partners in place of the traditional moon cakes.

These handmade chocolates are from the “Sweetie Choco Atalier”, a chocolate making workshop set up by the Garden of Hope Foundation, to assist women who had experienced domestic violence in making the first step to financial independence.

The Garden of Hope Foundation was established in Taiwan by the American missionary Angie Golmon in 1985. Its mission is to rescue child prostitutes in Taiwan and build a place where the young girls and battered women who have been domestically abused could rest, recover and embrace a new life.
